What experience do I need to become a HaliMac Axe Throwing franchise owner?

 

You do not need to have experience with the sport of axe throwing prior to joining our team. We look for people who are motivated to run their own businesses, and who ideally have some business operations or staff management experience. Community connections or commercial development experience are also helpful. Regardless of your background, we’ll help provide the training, tools, and products you need to open an axe throwing business and operate it effectively.

 

What is provided as part of the HaliMac Axe Throwing franchise program?

 

We will provide a corporate-based pre-opening training program, lasting up to seven days, including both classroom and hands-on training. Then, in conjunction with your Grand Opening, representatives of the HaliMac Axe Throwing franchise support team will spend up to seven days assisting you and your staff on-site at your location. In addition, we will present you with a copy of our confidential operations manual to help run your business properly on a day-to-day basis.

 

How much will the HaliMac Axe Throwing program investment cost me?

 

The total initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $155,900 and $224,660 in Canada ($126,010 to $176,330 in U.S.) for a single location. This includes a $50,000 initial franchise fee in Canada; $45,000 in the U.S. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

 

Is financing available?

 

No. We do not provide direct financing to franchisees, but we may refer to financing sources on a case by case basis.

 

Are there ongoing fees to pay? 

 

We charge a royalty fee equal to 7% of gross revenues. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of supply channels, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.

 

Are there any advertising fees?

 

Franchisees will be required to spend a minimum of 1.5% of gross revenue each month on local marketing. HaliMac Axe Throwing franchisees will also to contribute up to 1.5% of gross revenues into the system marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the HaliMac Axe Throwing brand and fund the creative costs to develop local marketing materials and campaigns.

 

What is the term of the agreement?

 

The initial term of your agreement is five years, with three subsequent successor agreement options of five years each.
